Wild Food Sweden

Under the guidance of an experienced foraging guide, we will spend a week on foot and by canoe, searching for wild edible plants and mushrooms in the Scandinavian wilderness. Together, we will discover surprising flavors and exchange experiences around the campfire. Camping in the middle of old forests, enjoying a refreshing swim in a lake or relaxing sauna and eating what nature offers us: the perfect opportunity to go completely back to basics. Sweden is the ultimate foraging country, deeply rooted in the local culture and boasting an extensive and longstanding tradition of foraging.

A diverse trip where we hike, canoe, forage and camp in the wild. Join us on a trip of a lifetime!

  • Forest To Plate

Forest To Plate has been organizing wild food trips and adventures for over a decade and specializes in edible wild plants and mushrooms. We bring people from all backgrounds together during our trips, and share one common trade, our love for nature.

  • Allemansretten

    Allemansretten

Allemannsretten (the “right to roam”, or “right of public access”) is quite a tongue-twister for native English speakers. But the concept it represents is simple: everyone has the freedom to enjoy nature, regardless of who owns the land.
